Bye bye Ter Stegen?
07:51
In 1916 Albert Einstein had said that , "Two good goalkeepers cannot play for the same club for two consecutive seasons".
The genius was right. 100 years later, the law still holds good. Finally, we have reached that point where one of Ter Stegen or Claudio Bravo has to leave the club. If we make a poll and ask the users to vote as whom do you pick over those two, I think we'd see Bravo bagging most of the votes which is quite evident considering his performance this season.
Some of the cules who also happen to be Pep Guardiola apologists would definitely pick Ter Stegen for obvious reasons and some of them would pick Bravo because his form is commendable and has definitely lived up to his second name.
The Age question..
Claudio Bravo : Born - April 13, 1983 ( Age - 32 years, 8 months)
Ter Stegen : Born - April 30 1992( Age - 22 years, 8 months)
Bravo - Old, Consistent, could rely on him for few more years.(2,3 years)
Ter Stegen - Risky, Moulded for Barca's style. He is the "future" man!! ( But needs some time )
Earlier in the season, Luis Enrique prioritized club's current success over the "future" and made Bravo as the starter for the league games. He would have probably wanted to give Ter Stegen a chance, but Bravo's brilliant form never gave him that chance. Also Ter Stegen heroics against Athletic Bilbao, AC Milan and thrashing at the hands of Celta Vigo didn't hep him either. One can always argue that he alone was not culpable, but you get the picture.
Also, Ter Stegen has expressed his disapproval directly to the press thus hampering the dressing room environment. Now Luis Enrique would have been pumped up to show, " Who's the Boss"? so it is just matter of time before Ter Stegen leaves the club.
Should we blame Lucho for this Chaos?
Luis Enrique ? -> No, he did what anyone will do. Play the strongest 11 as his job is at stake.
Remember how everyone blamed Luis Enrique last year when Jordi Alba scored an own goal against Real Sociedad?
Should you care if Ter Stegen leaves the club?
NO. I believe there are plenty of goalkeepers who can do just fine. The club will have to just spill some cash, just over 10 million.

| Q&A with Luis Enrique |
Q) With Messi out? Is this Neymar's best moment at Barcelona?
LE: "Neymar's best moment at Barça? No, he has been great since he arrived here. He's developing, but that's logical."
Q) With too many injuries in the team? Will Iniesta return against Eibar?
LE: "Iniesta needed now that there are several injuries? We always need Iniesta. We'll see tomorrow if he plays."
Q) What are your thoughts on Match official being pressured to favour Real Madrid in the upcoming El Clasico?
LE: "Clasico-fixing claims? I would like it to be thoroughly investigated, to know if it's true or not. I think that'd be logical"
Q) How is Messi's recovery going on?
Luis Enrique: "Messi? He's recovering well, as planned, improving every day."
Q) On Johan Cruyff being diagnosed with Cancer
Luis Enrique: "Lung cancer Cruyff? Sad news, we wish him lots of strength, I'm sure he'll overcome this, big hug to him."
Match Preview : Sevilla Vs Barcelona
06:02
Barcelona will play the 7th league game of the season against Sevilla at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
History tells us that, this fixture has always produced many goals. An average of 2.5 goals has been scored in the last 7 clashes between the two teams. The two sides have already faced each other in the European Super Cup where Barca won 5-4 in the extra time.
Sevilla are currently sitting in the 16th position in La Liga and have just won twice in all competitions , this season. Going by their dreadful form, we have to be the favorites for today's clash.
Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid will face each other tomorrow, so it is a must win for us to go at the top of the table. On paper, this is the only tough fixture which we have for the next 2 months in the absence of Lionel Messi.
Possible line-up (vs Sevilla): Bravo - Alves Pique Mascherano Alba - Rakitic Busquets SergiRoberto - Munir Suarez Neymar
Alves, Pique, Mascherano and Neymar are all out of form. So we shouldn't be surprised if we actually lose/draw today.
Surprisingly, Unai Emery who hasn't won against Barcelona is confident that his team can get something from this game.
UNAI EMERY: "We are really motivated to take on a great team like Barcelona, Even more so because it's in our own stadium. The Sanchez Pizjuan is the perfect scene. Tomorrow is the perfect day to face Barcelona. It's at 16.00h, the best time, after eating."
Injuries to Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta shouldn't be an excuse. The team should be able to put up a decent fight and come up with a win.

Celta Vigo 4 Barcelona 1, " A Proper thrashing"
04:11
Barcelona succumbed to high flying Celta Vigo, who are currently sitting at the top of the table alongside Real Madrid with 13 points.
Barcelona rolled into the match with this line up : TerStegen - Alves Pique Mascherano Mathieu - S.Roberto Busquets Iniesta - Messi Suarez Neymar .
Since Dani Alves returned to his favoured right back position, Luis Enrique thought it would be unfair to leave Sergi Roberto on the bench so he decided to play him in the midfield, which made sense. Pique's return means, Mathieu played at left back position for the injured Jordi Alba.
Barcelona lacked cohesion and organisation right from the word 'GO'. There were haphazard and careless combinations throughout the match which contributed to the disastrous scoreline. Pique and Dani Alves were at fault for more than one occasion which clearly shows the importance of 'Match Practice' .

| Aspas clear on goal earlier in the match |
Barcelona recovered from their sloppy start and created few chances in succession, but were wasteful in front of the goal.In the 14th minute, a brilliant team play saw Neymar through on goal, but his shot was saved.
On their first goal, Dani Alves was way out of his position. Nolito, who received the ball in the box had all the time in the world . He scored his 5th goal to put Celta Vigo ahead with a sublime curler.
Their Second goal came within minutes after Pique had a brain fart near the halfline. Aspas, who was clear on goal chipped the ball over Ter Stegen, who really had no chance whatsoever. Celta Vigo were leading 2-0 at the half time.
Minutes into the second half, Aspas almost put Celta 3-0 after Busquets lost the possession in a terrible fashion. Both teams created plethora of chances, but only one team took them.
Barcelona's day summed up when Lionel Messi struck the post after 52 minutes with only their goalkeeper to beat. Barcelona were totally dominant in that period and continued to create few more chances. Celta Vigo, on the other hand were happy to absorb the pressure and hit on the break .
Their tactics worked to perfection when Nolito devised a brilliant counter attack from a Barca's corner. Nolito lobbed a perfect ball to Aspas, who skipped past Alves in a brilliant fashion to put Celta 3-0 ahead.
Even though Neymar scored a late consolation goal for Barcelona, his goal scoring form is a concern. Guidetti scored the 4th goal to smash any hopes of comeback for Barcelona.
