In 1916 Albert Einstein had said that , "Two good goalkeepers cannot play for the same club for two consecutive seasons".

The genius was right. 100 years later, the law still holds good. Finally, we have reached that point where one of Ter Stegen or Claudio Bravo has to leave the club. If we make a poll and ask the users to vote as whom do you pick over those two, I think we'd see Bravo bagging most of the votes which is quite evident  considering his performance this season.

Some of the cules who also happen to be Pep Guardiola apologists would definitely pick Ter Stegen for obvious reasons and some of them would pick Bravo because his form is commendable and has definitely lived up to his second name.

The Age question..

Claudio Bravo : Born - April 13, 1983 ( Age - 32 years, 8 months)
Ter Stegen        : Born - April 30 1992( Age - 22 years, 8 months)

Bravo - Old, Consistent, could rely on him for few more years.(2,3 years)
Ter Stegen - Risky, Moulded for Barca's style. He is the "future" man!! ( But needs some time )

Earlier in the season, Luis Enrique prioritized club's current success over the "future" and made Bravo as the starter for the league games. He would have probably wanted to give Ter Stegen a chance, but Bravo's brilliant form never gave him that chance. Also Ter Stegen heroics against Athletic Bilbao, AC Milan and thrashing at the hands of Celta Vigo didn't hep him either. One can always argue that he alone was not culpable, but you get the picture.

Also, Ter Stegen has expressed his disapproval directly to the press thus hampering the dressing room environment. Now Luis Enrique would have been pumped up to show, " Who's the Boss"? so it is just matter of time before Ter Stegen leaves the club.

Should we blame Lucho for this Chaos?

Luis Enrique ? ->  No, he did what anyone will do. Play the strongest 11 as his job is at stake.

Remember how everyone blamed Luis Enrique last year when Jordi Alba scored an own goal against  Real Sociedad?

Should you care if Ter Stegen leaves the club?

NO. I believe there are plenty of goalkeepers who can do just fine. The club will have to just spill some cash, just over 10 million.
