TATA Martino penned out a starting line up ,keeping AC milan and el Clasico in the mind.And most importantly our captain is Back .Carles puyol played after many days and Since Messi was injured, Cesc fabregas  played at the centre ,Just like in PSG away game after Messi was Injured. What made me perplexed is, we have Neymar,He has done very well in the CF position and suddenly Martino introduced cesc in the false 9/CF position against Osasuna. After the international Break we always  suffer. one moment that strikes me everytime is, Barcelona were 2-0 up in away game against real sociedad , after the international Break!! The game ended 2-2. Yes,we don't look great after the international Break. But that reason shouldn't suffice our performance(including finishing). we did everything right except the finishing part. 
Neymar, pedro all had half decent chances, but but Cesc fabregas was the culprit as usual, particularly after a failed volly and after missing two one on one's . We have seen many , many times that he doesnt  flair well in CF/false9 position.

      Many of Non-Barcelona supporters would have laughed, when Tata martio announced "we may buy a new striker instead of a defender in Jan". Yes,At Barca we try to improve the things which we are good at rather than shutting down our weakness. Not to disparage Cesc Fabregas importance,but he simply doesn't fit in the position he played because it isn't his natural position. Cesc fabregas played superb against atletico madrid in spanish super cup first leg. He created space, chances .Against osasuna, terrible performance.  Tata martino is doing very well this season. We have Just lost 2 points due to lack of finishing.  
   
It's worth remembring we lost two CL  because of 1) lack of finishing(Inter and chelsea) 2) Fatigue . The fatigue part is dealt very well . You may ask how ?
It's very clear, We were 0-0 and were risky of losing out 2 points but Tata martino subbed Xavi. You may ask again , Messi came in for xavi ?? . Tito vilanova wouldn't have done that last year. tito would have subbed Messi for cesc fabreags and xavi would have played whole game.  So ,there is a proper plan going on week in week out on Playing time for all players .
      Coming to the game, Osasuna were happy to get a point.

That's the sad part of La liga. It's very usual now for barca to face a team who defend deep , and usually with the quality we have , we would have snatched all three points. But osasuna did very well in defending .And another flop of the match was Montoya, He was no where near half of Dani alves.His Crosses were pathetic, he Should have scored one for himself. Pedro had a brilliant chance to shine but he too didnt impress. So draw was a fair result.

 Another thing which we observed for a while is Iniesta's lack of shooting ability.I sometimes wonder how he scored a screamer against chelski in 93rd minute. Iniesta and David silva are similar (ONLY in this case i.e shooting) .Both of them will try to pass it to the opponents almost everytime unless they dont have any option to pass. So Iniesta sent some shots into the sky,some were very poor with no power. So as the time was approaching with our lacklustre performance we looked innocuous. Although Messi came on later it was just too late and  it was not our day. This is one of the games where the question rises, "what if messi doesnt score 60,70 goals. what then ?" . 
Real madrid fans were happy to see us lose  2 points.Now they are 3 points behind us and an el clasico is coming up this weekend .I 'm pretty sure we will not be totally attack minded and we play with sense. I.e Not allowing madrid to counter attack leaving gaps in the both flanks . Messi and Neymar together may do a wonder. Let's see.
I have heard many cules saying "Reputation matters" . Particularly with Neymar. The referees think "neymar will dive" .There was a proper foul on neymar  barca were not allowed to take the deserved  penalty kick". In the previous match, BALE dived and got penalty. The refereeing is always poor but hey! that was obvious. 
A note for referees Note : "Please do your Job don't be susceptible  ,Especially to chelski coach JOSe mourinho words". Neymar has adjusted very well and gelled down pretty well with the team. So Milan next, I think  we should easily swipe them aside and gear up for the first clasico" .Have a good week with good CL games and an el clasico coming up.
