Messi hat-trick at Bernabeu. Can it get any better?

If it was not clear till now, yesterday it was very clear as "Why El Clasico is the biggest match every season"? . It lived upto it's billing. Both teams played some brilliant attacking football  that every neutral would like to see in a game of football. Yesterday's match summed up an el Clasico. Some stars showed up and some stars didn't, but it had plenty of goals, pacy game, and controversies. Finally Barca emerged as a winner. As a cule, I want to win an el Clasico more than any other game in the whole season.

This season not only did we win once, but twice. We won 3-4 against bitter rivals at their fortress. Can you imagine how it feels to lose a game after scoring 3 times?. It literally sucks. Thank heavens for Lionel Messi. Because of him, we didn't feel like I said. We immediately took the game in control and minutes into the match, Messi passed the ball to Iniesta, who sent the ball to the top of the net to make it 0-1. Boom. Ancelloti begged to differ in his approach. He didn't set his team to park the bus and snatch a goal, but he set his team to attack(Real Madrid should play such sort of attacking game and leave BUS to small teams ). We all know how it ends if the team attacks against Barca. There were loop holes in the Real Madrid side. Messi had a hell lot of space. We could have easily made it 0-2 if not for Messi's miss.

As I was waiting for the crucial second goal, Benzema headed the ball past victor valdes to make it 1-1. How we have Andres Iniesta , they have Angel Di Maria. Di Maria was brilliant yesterday. He easily went past Barca players and without any pressure  delivered the balls into the box. How much ever we appreciate Mascherano, at the end of the day he is not a NATURAL CB. Teams nowadays are more than capable of exploiting such weaknesses. Mascherano had a dull game and was responsible for couple of goals we conceded. Pique also holds the equal responsibility. We were losing the game 1-2 because of our mediocre defending. Well, to be honest I wasn't panicking  at 1-2 as the game was very open. There was plenty of space to exploit for either sides. At the end, the team which used the space  well won the game. Even though the game was wide open, it would have been a massive set back for us to concede 3 goals. PIQUE saved the day with a brilliant clearance. After that, we were hunting to equalize. For all hype about Neymar, he was very poor throughout the game. On a current form, Sanchez should have started ahead of Neymar, but Tata Martino chose a star instead. Neymar didn't track back to defend being a winger, which is a MUST QUALITY nowadays. Alves alone found it extremely difficult to defend against the likes of Di Maria, Marcelo, Ronaldo etc.

We attacked, they attacked. Finally, Messi scored after getting a pass from Neymar in a CROWDED place. You can count on MESSI to score from almost anywhere inside the box and he did it. 2-2. At half time, it was a good score, but not enough to keep our LA LIGA hopes alive. In the second half, same shit repeated. We attacked, they attacked. Alves clipped Ronaldo outside the box, but referee awarded a penalty. I can count on Penaldo to score every penalty he takes. He is really good at it and he scored to make it 3-2.

I was pretty pissed at our luck. Losing a game after scoring 2 goals sucks. We desperately wanted to win there and we kept on attacking. Xavi and Iniesta were phenomenal. But it was Messi who gave a perfectly weighted pass to Neymar which led to Ramos Red card and subsequent penalty. There is a high chance that Messi may miss a penalty, but yesterday he showed his maturity and always thought we could win this match. Every time we were a goal down, he stepped up and scored a goal to equalize. Messi is the player with most goals (21) and most assists(12) in the history of el clasico. He scored from a spot to make it 3-3.

After the red card, it was quite evident that we had a chance to win this game. We did it finally after Iniesta was fouled inside the box, Messi scored the winner by sending the ball to the top corner of the net.

Messi became the top scorer in an El Clasico with a hat-trick. Santiago Bernabeu was in agony.

We made it 4-3. 4 fucking goals at Bernabeu, would you believe it??

We still have to lose a game against  a TOP TEAM this season. We are very lucky to witness this set of players playing at their absolute peak.

For me, a win over Real Madrid beats everything. We may not win the league this season, but let's fight for it till the end.
