Barcelona. Top of the table-> Check.  Yet another clean sheet-> Check. Real Madrid lost again-> Check. What else you need for an Euphoria?
I am extremely happy at the way things are going for us. The team is cohesive. We are creating numerous chances in every game. We saw the much awaited Messi-Neymar duo play some fantastic football at times. Here we are, sitting at the top of the table, having a 2 points lead over Atletico Madrid and Valencia, and a 6 points lead over Real Madrid after 3 league games.

Coming to the match, I expected us to win comfortably before the kick off since we were playing at Camp Nou. Luis Enrique, as expected started Munir ahead of Neymar. Generally, I don't compare two players, but the more I see, more it feels like, Munir is  Luis Enrique's Pedro. Munir has a record of playing in Spain under 18, Senior team, Barca junior and Senior team all in the same year. With Barca players, there is always a huge expectation. Nowadays, every kid who waddles out from La Masia is regarded as next Messi. So naturally, Munir will be nervous, and it's clearly visible.

As  a fans, what we should do about Munir thing?

Be happy that  our club is trusting a youngster and giving him a chance even after  those multi-million signings. Don't keep high expectations on any player. Always remember that, there is just, one of a kind. We can have only, one Xavi, one Iniesta, One Puyol and one Messi. Munir will continue to be in Luis Enrique's plans. Apparently, as a sub for Neymar in the coming days.

What's with all those clean sheets? Aren't we suppose to be shit in this department?

I, personally love clean sheets. Preventing the opposition from scoring a goal is possibly the best thing in football. The common notion among football fraternity is: Barcelona have crap defense, Manutd have crap midfield and Chelsea have crap attack. This season, all three teams seems to have done something to bolster their respective weaker department. Mathieu, Pique and Mascherano will play an inevitable part this season. Very curious to see the roles of injury prone Vermaelen and Marc Bartra.

                                     Coming to  Messi's trial

Haters : Messi, do you wish to confess?

Messi : I wish to confess, I wish to confess. *Turns around* I  won matches, leagues and cups single-handedly. Brought joy to millions of fans. Broke every goddamn record in the sight.

Haters:  Messssiiii, do you wish to confesssssssssss?

Messi:  I am guilty, I am guilty. Is that what you'll want to hear?

Haters : You admit that you are guilty of  'Saving yourself for the world cup'?

Messi : No, Of that, I am innocent. I am guilty of far more things. I am guilty of 'Setting high standards for myself'. I am guilty of being the possible GOAT.

Yes he is guilty of 'Setting high standards'. Even if he scores 50 goals, haters say, he has lost it, blah-blah. Because he has set a high expectation/bar by scoring 91 goals a year. Messi is the best player in the world even in his off season. This season, it looks like he is back to his usual self.  A rejuvenated Messi is worth hundred signings. To sum it up, there are  so many positives  about this team. I'm pretty optimistic, as always. Just enjoy the ride.

Visca Barca.
