Ibrahim Afellay moves to Stoke City
07:01
The 29-year-old winger moved to Britannia Stadium after his contract with Barcelona expired over the course of the summer.
Afellay joins ex-Barcelona teammates Bojan, Marc Muniesa and Moha.
Stoke City Chief Executive Tony Scholes said: "It's no secret that Ibrahim was wanted by a number of clubs and we are understandably delighted that he has chosen to join us".
"Afellay is excited about the prospect of playing in the Premier League and he knows many players who are already at the Club which will help him settle in his new surroundings", he added.
Afellay won a lot of trophies including Champions League, but his time at Barcelona was disrupted by many injuries. Afellay made 21 league appearances for Barca and subsequently had loan spells with Schalke and Olympiacos respectively.
Afellay will be fondly remembered by the Cules all over the world for his assist against Real Madrid in the CL Semi finals.
All the best, Ibrahim Affelay.
