Barcelona win the 2015-16 edition of Joan Gamper trophy after beating Roma 3-0 at Camp Nou.

Three exquisite goals from Neymar, Messi and Rakitic helped Barca to cruise past Roma in the final pre-season friendly of 2015-16 season.

Messi, who played his first friendly of the season was totally sharp in the first half and was decisive throughout. The build up to the first goal in the FRIENDLY was totally astounding. I  pinched  myself to realize that it isn't a CL game in February. Mathieu who was playing as LB waited till the ball reached Messi's feet and then made a timely run towards the box. Messi, who saw all this in fraction of seconds made a pinpoint diagonal pass into the box. Mathieu glided the ball swiftly towards Neymar who opened the scoring with a composed finish.

Minutes later, something unusual happened on the field. Mapou Yanga - Mbiwa apparently told something to Messi which provoked him so much  that he decided to headbutt him and also caught his throat in the heat of  the moment. The Referee, who knew it was friendly decided to let it go.

 For the second goal, Alves, Luis Suárez and Neymar combined beautifully in the box to tee up Messi who drilled his shot home with typical precision. Then there were load of substitutions from both sides.

 Late in the match, Rakitic curled one into the top corner to end the match in style. It was a typical Golazzzzzoooooooooo. After the third goal, I pinched myself again to realize it isn't all a
a dream.
