Messi's biggest strength is his ability to reinvent himself. Messi shifted from his usual role as 'False 9' to the right flank to accommodate Luis Suarez and Neymar. The move worked as Messi showed his exceptional passing abilities. Messi now seems to have perfected that 'Diagonal pass to Jordi Alba'. Messi's new role helped Luis Enrique to try different tactics and also it created lot of space for Neymar and Suarez which helped Barcelona in the longer run.

Also, Messi has an appetite for big games.The first leg of CL semifinal against mighty Bayern Munich was destined to end at 0-0, but Messi stepped up and turned the game around. His second goal won the best goal of 2014-15 CL  season.
