Barça can still win the league?
The way we played against Getafe at Camp Nou shows how oblivious our players were w.r.t La Liga Race. Barça was always in the race. However, the past season results obscured Barça view as the grey clouds obscure Sun. Throughout the season we were waiting for Atletico Madrid to drain out, but they played each league game/CL as their final. They prevailed week in, week out and Atletico Madrid are in UCL finals now and can be La Liga champions too. Barça had a brilliant first half of the season and were top of the league for good amount of time, and then we bottled it and Real Madrid gained control of the league. Real Madrid were quite imperious in the league before the second El Clasico of the season. After that, Barça were supposed to take the league in their hands, but we lost it within days and it was all Atletico Madrid. It seems like none of the top 3 wants to win the league. 

 There were probably 2 results which stand out this season.

 1)  Barcelona 2 Valencia 3, the result was infuriating, Barça aren't supposed to lose like that, in Home? Then we lost against Real Sociedad in league after beating them in CDR. Also I see this rumour everywhere, "Barça players do not possess the same motivation anymore, and  are just waiting to end this season and head towards Brazil". Bonkers isn't it? . But some times I feel it's true.

      2) The way we played against Getafe irks me a lot considering the current situation. Missed chances, throwing the game after leading. Common, which team other than us has this preposterous tactic of keeping just 5 in their own half in the last minute of the match, leading by just one goal? Now in order to win the league, we should hope that Real Madrid drops  points in the next two games. Let's see the points of all the three teams.



First case: Barcelona and Real Madrid win all of their remaining games.

 Real Madrid have played 35 games and have gathered 83 points. If they win all the remaining three games Real Madrid will be  having 92 points at the end of the season. In that case, Barça cannot win the league. However, Barça will accumulate 91 points, the same as Atletico. So, Real Madrid will win the league, if Barça WIN against Atletico Madrid.

 Second case: Real Madrid fail to win one of their last three games.

  Real Madrid will be out of the race. Barcelona can win the league if they manage to beat Atletico Madrid on the final day of the season. A loss or draw for Barça crowns Atletico Madrid as the new league champions.

  Culés across the world are infuriated at the possibility that "Barca will handover the league to Real Madrid by beating Atletico Madrid". To be fair, nowadays I am believing the fact that some of Barça players are saving themselves for the world cup(Atleast after the Granada match). I will be pretty pissed too if we handover the league to Real Madrid.For me, Barça should just throw away the last match(Give youngsters the chance, Goddammit) if Real Madrid win their next 2 matches. If Real Madrid drop points in next two games, Barça can win the league by beating Elche(Away) and Atlético(Home)

  If TATA Martino wants to go for a win on the final day with a hope that Espanyol snatches a point or three from Real Madrid, we will be in a precarious position. If it happens like that and we hand over the giant La Liga trophy to our most hated team in the world, Real Madrid, TATA Martino will be in Real Madrid's Hall of Fame and will be included in the history of Real Madrid ;). Don't throw the pig's head at the team if it happens so. Will ya? Culés?
