It's the repeat of 2012. We are out of both champions league and La Liga within a span of three days. But in 2012, we had already beaten Real Madrid 4-3(Aggregate) in the Copa Del Rey competition, and we were very confident of winning that piece of silverware. On 17th of April, we will be facing Real Madrid in the Copa Del Rey finals. Barça has faced Real Madrid 2 times this season and has emerged as a winner on both occasions. However, this time they are highly motivated to beat us. Irrespective of what happens in the Copa Del Rey final, this year will be regarded as a failure for the club.

  Despite playing so well, Barça lost to Granada. We lost mainly because of our crap defending and crap finishing, but they aren't the main problems of Barça after all, and there is plenty of discussion going on about, "what's wrong with this club anyways?'. I have listed out some major points being discussed right now and my point of view. 

1) Messi covered less distance than Pinto.

Agreed. Messi has won almost everything that the club game has to offer, and this year is the perfect time for for him to win something significant for his country. So, Messi wants to be injury free. But blaming Messi for the games we lost in past couple of days is the biggest mistake anyone can do. Messi has been saving Barça for so many years now. When our other strikers were shit or injured, it was Messi who delivered week in, week out. Barça won the LEAGUE last year only because Messi was our striker, our focal point. The same guy was the reason why Barça was so successful. According to me, Messi covering less distance shouldn't be the reason as why Barça lost to Granada. Yes, it's vital for the team that all should track back to defend, but in a long run It is easier said than done. However, we need others to step up when Messi is under performing. I think we will get to see real Messi in world cup and after that. There's no hiding from the fact that Messi is saving himself for WC2014 .

2) Fabregas is useless and he shouldn't play(Too Harsh isn't it). 

      We all know how Barça works. Barça wants to dominate the match(keep more possession). Because, the more we keep the ball, lesser the chance opposition gets to score against us. We have terrible defense on paper among the top clubs and if the best defender(for me) among the terrible defense gets injured(Pique), our defense will be worst both on paper as well as on the field. So, TATA usually goes with 4 midfielders. Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets and Fabregas. So, 4 top midfielders means we will have control(on paper, yes). But what happens on the field is altogether different. Fabregas looks clueless on the field, he is out of sync with the other players. Because of the time he spent in Arsenal, he is a bit slow in terms of thinking and doesn't get so much space as he used to get in England. Irrespective of my assertions about him, he's a fantastic player. He is just playing OUT OF HIS POSITION. All this happened because Culés & Xavi wanted Barça to have more possession than the opposition, irrespective of the number of goals we score. FACEPALM. Things were so good with three midfielders and three proper forwards. Reverting back to Plan A was the last thing we should have done IMO, we lost many matches because of this in the second half of the season.

3) Barça board is the main reason behind all of this, Our defense is horrendous since years and still we haven't signed any defender, thanks to Rosell.

Yes, the main and the important reason why the results aren't going our ways is because of our defense. Even though, the stats says we have conceded less goals and all, don't buy it. We can never win anything with this defense. Rosell and his co didn't give a crap about it last year. As someone said in twitter, We have been distracted every year by one or other things. In 2012, we were out of CL and La Liga, but since it was The Great Guardiola, we didn't care to look for the weakness in the team. In 2013, we won the league with record points and got owned by both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, but our board failed to act(Tito Vilanova's cancer distracted us), and we started the league with same players except for the Neymar signing(He is absolutely useless signing for me). Even a ten year old kid knows that Barça are in need of a defender. But the board are behind renovating Camp Nou and since some 70% of (30% of Total club members)  voted Yes, you know how terrible things are going to be for us in the future.

4) FIFA transfer ban.

Now to make things worse, FIFA added another twist in the main plot. We all know about this FIFA transfer ban and I am confident enough that FC Barcelona will appeal and will be successful at the end of it. If the ban stands, we are doomed.

Now, next match is up against Real Madrid and I really don't know what's going to happen. If they play like last year, we have no chance to win. But Ancelloti's 4-3-3 gives me a hope. Last year, we were happy to shut others mouth by saying "we've won the league and Barça era is far from over", but looks like it is over because of this board. Lastly, please don't blame Pinto, being a Barça goalkeeper is not that easy.
