Xavi Hernandez's last match at Camp Nou ended with him lifting a Copa Del Rey  trophy after defeating Athletic Bilbao at Camp Nou in the CDR final. The team is so special and our little man is so incredible that they produce these type of special performances week in, week out. During the build up to the CDR final, Mashcerano was asked whether he would trade places with Messi.

"I wouldn't trade places with him", Mascherano told to Canal Sport.

"You have to be special type of person to bear the burden of proving every three days, every game, that you're the best in the world."

Two days later, Messi scores, arguably the best goal in the history of  Copa Del Rey final. What Mascherano said about Messi can be said to the team too. This team is proving every three days that it is the best in the world. It's one thing for people to expect treble from Barca and it's another thing for team to live up to the expectations. At a moment, Barca is dismantling everything that is coming in its way and Luis Enrique's team is on a verge of another historic treble. 

 With the way we are playing after that loss at Anoeta, nobody would have even dared to bet against Barcelona.  The team was set up to destroy Athletic Bilbao at Camp Nou, right from the start. Athletic Bilbao were gently reminded again that they cannot mark Messi, Suarez and Neymar out of the game. If we watch our games , you'll know that we are playing at almost different level in the first half of every game and we see out the match in the second half. It was demonstrated yet again in the CDR final. We soon took the match under our control and  chances started to flourish. It was just a matter of time before the ball went in.

 Messi has raised his game to a different level this season, part of the credit goes to Luis Enrique, who deployed him on the right flank. The beauty with which he scored  his first goal cannot be expressed in mere words.

Once, a journalist asked Pep Guardiola: " How can you describe Messi".

Guardiola said, " You don't write about Leo, you watch him". It isn't fair to Messi if we try to describe the sheer magic of his goal which left so many  professional footballers in disbelief. Watch it for yourself

For the second goal, Rakitic, Messi, Suarez combined very well before Suarez fed Neymar for the second goal of the match. Suarez turned around and punched his fist in air after having provided the assist for trio's 119 th goal of the season. At that moment, they had surpassed the combined record goal tally of Ronaldo Benzema and Higuain. Another record was broken. We were 2-0 at HT and we were never going to lose the match from there. 

  There was some tension in the game after Neymar had made fool out of Athletic players. Amidst all the tension, confrontation Messi doubled his tally with a brilliant flick of yet another Alves's cross. King Felipe VI was waiting for the team to handover the elite trophy.
