When somebody asks you : Who is the traitor in the history of FC Barcelona?

Reaction : What?? Hold on? You just said Traitor? It's LUIS FIGO, LUIS FIGO.

So, in the build up to the CL final, there is this  Legends match scheduled at Berlin(Screams Advertising). But that's just half a  story. The main story line is ->   Luis Figo(Traitor) somehow  made the starting 11 of FC Barcelona in a LEGENDS MATCH.

Luis Figo is a Barça legend?  This news was enough for us  culers to snarl all over the twitter , until this happened.

For a minute I thought what would our reaction be if Luis Enrique or Michael Laudrup had made that list instead of Luis Figo? Would the reaction be same?  Even though, the other two joined our most hated rivals in their playing tenure, we would  heartily welcome them in the Legends 11 or whatever.

Why is this immense hatred  towards Luis Figo?

When Luis Figo returned to his former club in October of 2000. Amidst of all vocal, visceral feeling at Camp Nou, one  banner read :

Luis Figo was the darling of Catalunya, the way he left us tainted his legacy at Barcelona. As the quote sums up, he was our most important player. Players of such calibre take the club to whole new level. In football, players seek transfer and it's all normal. The hatred wouldn't have been same had he joined AC Milan or any English clubs, but he opted to join one our most hated rivals in the world.

One thing is for sure, to be a traitor the player should be of some  great calibre. We fans, don't even care if Bojan opts to join Real Madrid now for a 'Chicha Role'. Do we?. There may be few whistles at Camp Nou just to  keep things in perspective.

Coming to  the Barca Legends part, we have plenty of legends already to fill the starting 11 and the whole bench so who gives two f**ks about Figo. All right, that's all for now.  There will be CL final promo coming up.
